Where’s my Windows 7 telnet client?

And how to enable Remote Administration on Windows 7 (and Vista).  Telnet and other features are not installed by default with Windows 7 (or Vista). 

To install, go to Control Panel – Programs – Programs and Features – Turn Windows features on or off.  This opens a Windows Features dialog box where you can enable or disable features. 

For remote server administration, you want to install the Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 7, which adds a laundry list of tools which you manage with the same interface (screen shot below).
