T-Mobile Sidekick Vs. Handspring/PalmOne Treo 600
T-Mobile Sidekick Vs. Handspring/PalmOne Treo 600 (Twelve Black Code Monkeys)
I already committed to the Samsung SCH-i600 running SmartPhone 2003 and I really like the phone.
The Treo and Kyocera were contenders, but the Treo 600 has a camera (a no-no in many client sites and data centers in general) and the Kyocera was end-of-life.
The review basically reinforces my perceptions of the Treo - the keyboard would be difficult to use and call me old fashioned, but I just don't see anyone over 30 using the SideKick.

Hey thanks for the link - that's my blog. Anyway, as far as the Sidekick, I think Danger recently said in an interview that the average age of a Sidekick user was around 28, so there are pleanty of 30-somethings using it, as well as 20-something's and younger. The problem is that T-Mobile has decided to target as young a market as they can and ignore those who use the group but may be older. Despite this lack of respect for their demographic, many of these people still decide to use the Sidekick. Me (36), I decided to give it up, but my wife, who's a year younger than me, still uses one...
