rewire home network

In an act of desperation, I rewired my home network last night. I got an inexpensive HP Print Server on E-Bay ($27) and moved my primary server out of the second floor office and into the basement. It’s so simple, but it’s so cool.

The down side from my eldest daughter and cat’s perspective is that now that all the servers are out of the office its 10F cooler in the room and the ‘white noise’ is gone. The silence is palpable.
