Is this an answer to revision control for my project and home data?
I would prefer a system that's OS independent, but if there is a superior product just for Windows (or Linux), I would consider that as well.

Oh yeah, if its free, all the better.

Functional spec:
1. maintain version control on data files
2. search capability - name, date, content
3. restore individual files or entire folders
