We bought a ReplayTV 5060 from Amazon.com - its actually a version built for Costco, but its being sold by Amazon for $229 with a $50 rebate. Pretty good deal. Its really changed how I watch TV. I installed it in my office first because the network connection is local and I wanted to sort things out before putting it in the 'belly of the beast' (family room).

Some things I really, really like:
Channel Skip (yeah!). I sometimes record shows and time shift them 15 - 20 minutes just to skip channels.
